Must Have Tools - Immediate

The cost of tools are your responsibility and are not covered by the company or builder. Some supplies/tools may be provided for by the builder. Inquire from your local Superintendent or manager regarding tool coverage.

Mobile Phone

You MUST have a mobile phone and be able to be contacted by Superintendents and other relevant QFC staff and peers. You must be able to respond in a timely manner to plan and order changes.

Water Bottle

Bring plenty of water. If you can have extra water stored in a cooler even better. You must stay hydrated for your own health in AZ.

Hard Hat

A construction hard hat is required to work on construction sites. Make sure you have it on prior to entering the job site. You can get one from $8 dollars and up if you don't have one already.

Protective Toe Shoes

Protective toe shoes are required on construction sites. They can be composite, carbon or steel toe.

Work Gloves

A construction hard hat is required to work on construction sites. Make sure you have it on prior to entering the job site. You can get one from $8 dollars and up if you don't have one already.

Standard Tool Set

A standard tool set will have some of the most frequentlty used tools. These basic tools such as a hammer, screw drivers of multiple sizes, scissors, utility knife, tape measure and plyers are basic tools you must have.

5.5 ft. Aluminum Ladder 10ft. Reach

At least a 5.5 ft ladder will be mandatory for regular repairs interior and exterior

For drywall install and various uses as well as drilling

Power Drill w/ Drill Bits

On as needed basis

Circular Saw

Various cutting applications

Drywall Knives and Pan

A good number of various sizes drywall knives are standard for those who repair drywall regularly. Choose your preferred brand.

Puddy Knife

Smaller puddy knives are needed for smaller area repairs. 1in - 2in.

Painters Tools

Rollers, brushes, pan, grids, sponge brushes, poles for high areas, etc. Standard painting tools are all needed.

5 in 1 Tool

Used to remove various forms of debris from surface areas.

Scraper

Used to remove various forms of debris from surface areas.

Dripless Caulking Gun

Used for baseboard, trim, exterior and interior applications

Manual Hand Sander

Used for sanding drywall, baseboard, trim, etc.

Grouting, Cleaning and Washing Sponge

Useful for grout, stucco & cement patch, caulk, etc.

Mixing Containers (at least 2)

Useful for mixing powedered grout, stucco, etc.

Bucket for trash or materials

Useful for trash, moving minor materials, water pouring, etc.

Cleaning Towels

Broom & Dust Pan

Necessary for cleanup. Short or long, you must have this.

Pens and Pencils

For measurements, lines, notes, etc.

Jobsite Marker

Along with regular pencil and pens, a marker will be necessary for tagging notation

Clear Safety Glasses Fog-Free Lenses

Needed regularly for eye protection

Booties

Many home owner occupied homes require booties when entering.

Face Mask

A face mask is needed for high dust areas as well as residents who prefer masked visitors.

Drop Cloths

Needed regularly for all repairs and painting. Good for placing tools and floor protection during high dust or construction repairs.
